MVP Health Care (New York) Eligibility Validation Rules Change

Effective February 1, 2015, MVP Health Care (New York) will begin validating the NPI and name being provided in all eligibility transactions. If the name provided doesn’t match the name in the NPPES database, the transaction will be rejected. You can change the provider name listed in the account by going to the self service portal>NPI Maintenance and clicking the “Edit” link next to the NPI you would like to change. Once you have changed the name, click “Update” to save your changes. You can also contact customer support at customer.support@passporthealth.com.
