To streamline our alerts, this Thursday we will condense the Epic embedded (NEBO) alerts for Medicare as a secondary payer. This will not affect RQA alerts.
We will be globally deactivating the following alerts for all Epic clients with Premium and Enhanced EDI.
| NEBO0517 | Medicare may be Secondary. Review Medical liability |
| NEBO0518 | Medicare may be Secondary. Verify with Patient |
The following alert will remain active for all clients.
| NEBO0502 | Medicare may be secondary. Review the response for other or additional payers. Then confirm with patient and MSP questionnaire. |
Previously all three alerts would fire.
