Patient Payment Estimator (PPE)
New feature – Calculation Log Messages will be deployed to all PPE users. This feature allows the user to see the contracting evaluation for the procedures on the estimate. The user simply hovers over the Information button to the right of the Total Charges field. This will display each contract term applied to the current estimate, along with any Caps or Limits that may have applied to the Adjusted Charges.
This setting will be defaulted ON for all PPE users. Upon requests to Customer Support, this setting can be turned off for specific users or whole facilities.
Payer Name Change
ODS Eligibility will be renamed to Moda Health. The EDI mapping will remain “ODS.”
Special Notes:
- Weekly Deployment Schedule: Passport’s weekly application deployment is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm CT every Thursday night. However, our deployment process typically results in no customer impact or downtime. If we suspect a change will impact customers, we will communicate forty-eight hours in advance. The hardware and systems maintenance follows the application deployment Thursday nights from 10:00pm to 12:00am CT. During this window customers may experience intermittent processing issues.
