eCareNext Authorization Status Update – 09.24.2015

We have enhanced your Auth Status to further define encounters that require user intervention. If there is no direct CPT code match, you will now be presented with additional statuses:

  • Validate Authorized
  • Validate Denied

This is to ensure that users validate the authorization returned is for the encounter they are reviewing.  Once the user validates this authorization, they check the “Use This Auth” checkbox which in turns updates the account to Authorized or Denied respectively.

Your work queues have been updated and the new statuses and will reflect in your Authorized or Denied work queues.
