Passport Release Notes for 01.23.2014

Change Overview:

  • eCare NEXT – Add the ability to run secondary estimates in Patient Payment Estimator (PPE)

The benefit fields will NOT be automatically populated in the Secondary column, so users must manually enter any benefit information in order to show an accurate EPR amount. In order for any Secondary changes to take effect, users MUST recalculate the estimate after every adjustment to the PPE.

The Secondary functionality exists for both Commercial payers as well as Medicare. All facilities automatically have the ability to run a Secondary on any commercial account.  However, any clients that would like the ability to run a Secondary PPE on a Medicare account will need to have the support team turn on this feature.  You can forward requests to ecarehelpdesk@passporthealth.com

  • MyResponse – Fix missing General Benefits and In Network Benefit Information that were not populating data

Special Notes:

  • Orders products will be unavailable between 10pm and 1015pm CT on 01/23/2014

 

  • Self Service Portal – Change to allow new users to be added via copy was deployed ahead of schedule last week. 

Directions:

  1. Go to self-service portal and click on manage users tab
  2. Pick Source User
  3. Click on Manage
  4. Click “Copy” link in the Edit User page next to ACTIONS
  5. Enter Name, Phone Number, Email, and select department (it defaults to the source user’s department)
  6. Go to the login page and enter the login name and password
  7. Click on the other tab to enter notes about the user
  8. Click on the create button
