Passport Release Notes for 04.17.2014

Change Overview:

eCare NEXT

  • Fix – Resolve issue causing eCare NEXT work queues assigned to a department to become a global work queue

Medical Necessity

  • Fix – If the Medical Necessity in eCare NEXT fails, PPE should display the EPR as full CDM price
  • Fix – Expand ICD Text Input Boxes to Show Complete ICD 10 Code
  • Fix – Fix issue causing the system to lockup when a user screens a patient using ICD 10 date then reverts to the ICD 9 date

Patient Payment Estimator (PPE)

  • New Feature – Allows the end user to view the logic used to calculate the total estimated patient responsibility.  The explanation is accessed by clicking on the blurb to the right of the Estimated Patient Responsibility.   This will be deployed to all customers, but can be turned off by customer support. This mirrors the functionality currently in AMP

Self-Service Portal

  • New Feature – Add Online Reports Tab to Self-Service Portal
  • New Feature – New audit report that allows customers to view configuration changes submitted from their account on the new online reports tab

Special Notes:

  • Passport will be performing a database upgrade from 10:00pm CT to 11:00pm CT that may intermittently disrupt Patient Payment Estimator (PPE) and Registration Quality Assurance (RQA) transactions.
