Passport Release Notes for 09.18.2014

CHANGES OVERVIEW

We have a hardware upgrade during our 10:00pm CT to 12:00am CT maintenance window on 9/18/2014.  We don’t anticipate significant downtime, but some customers may need to re-establish their connection afterwards. 

OrderSmart          

Fix –  Resolve issues causing the “Add New Patient” link to not function correctly.

Feature – Add a new status NotRequiredFromKB and update authorization screens and work queues.

Feature – On Fax indexing page add Reject button that will be shown for new faxes only.  Once it is rejected it will prompt user with a message “Do you want to reject?” via a popup.

Feature – Create summary report of Fax activity status for faxes received from a Physician Office.

Patient Payment Estimator

Feature – New  Claims History Search.  This is a new version of our previous Historical Search. It allows the users to see line item detail of what is typically on a claim and have more control over what procedures are taken into consideration.

Feature – New Co-pay option. This is an optional setting, per Payer. For all estimates, if the Co-pay is returned but there is no Coinsurance, or the Coinsurance is 0%, this new setting will force the calculation to use the Co-pay only and will not take into consideration Deductible and Coinsurance values. Essentially the EPR will equal the Co-pay.

Feature – New Out Of Pocket calculation option.  In eCare NEXT, this new feature will allow the end user to Include or Exclude the Deductible and/or Co-pay from the Out Of Pocket calculation. This will mimic the functionality currently in AMP/IS

Special Notes:

Passport’s weekly application deployment is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm CT every Thursday night.  However, our deployment process typically results in no customer impact or downtime.  If we suspect a change will impact customers, we will communicate forty-eight hours in advance.  The hardware and systems maintenance follows the application deployment Thursday nights from 10:00pm to 12:00am CT.  During this window customers may experience intermittent processing issues.
