Blue Cross Blue Shield Eligibility Slowness – Blue Exchange Update (12.04.2014 @ 3:00pm CT Update)

[3:00pm CT]  Blue Exchange is back online.  Most Blue Cross Blue Shield real-time transactions should process normally.  However, there is a considerable backlog of Blue Cross Blue Shield eligibility transactions due to their downtime today.  We believe it may take two to three hours to process all of the pending transactions.

[10:30am CT]  Blue Cross Blue Shield eligibility plans continue to process very slowly due to a Blue Exchange Issue.  We just received the following.

BlueExchange Production environment is currently experiencing issues with processing of BX transactions. Our technical staff are diligently working to resolve the issue ASAP.  A resolution notification will be sent immediately after this issue is resolved.

[9:00am CT]  Blue Cross Blue Shield eligibility plans are processing very slowly due to a Blue Exchange Issue.  This is affecting most Blue Cross Blue Shield eligibility plans!
