Passport Release Notes – 01.29.2015

We apologize for the delay in posting this update, but we had to finalize the full details prior to publishing.  These items were included in the pre-deployment notes email sent on 01.29.2015.

Change Overview:

OrderSmart

  • Orders for all users, In the Demographics tab, added support to capture alternate member name under insurance section.
  • When alternate member last/first name information is entered added support to use them instead of patient last/first name in auth inquiry/submit web service requests.
  • Also member names will be replaced with alternate member names when available in member information section in Authorization tab.
  • Fax Workqueueus for facility group users and facility users added ability to search SSN in fax workqueues – only numbers and no dashes, must be an exact match.
  • Fax Indexing page for all users, formatted the patient’s details to display as: Last Name, First Name (DOB, M/F). Resolved issue where M or F was being interpreted as a middle initial.
  • Fax Dashboard for all users, excluded the completed trash documents from the fax dashboard totals.
  • Authorization tab for all users, for the orders created through interface, Added support to display referring physician details in the authorization details screen-referring physician section only if the physician has an office and the office is associated with the facility.
  • Authorization tab for Facility group users and facility users, added referral id column to “Auth Activity report”. Information in this column is same as the referral number in authorization details screen.

Special Notes:

  • Passport’s weekly application deployment is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm CT every Thursday night. However, our deployment process typically results in no customer impact or downtime. If we suspect a change will impact customers, we will communicate forty-eight hours in advance. The hardware and systems maintenance follows the application deployment Thursday nights from 10:00pm to 12:00am CT. During this window customers may experience intermittent processing issues
