Passport Release Notes – 04.16.2015

DOWNTIME TONIGHT (04.16.2015) FROM 10:00PM CT to 11:30PM CT. Passport is performing a system upgrade on 04.16.2015 during our regularly scheduled maintenance that will affect several product’s real-time transaction processing from 10:00pm CT to 11:30pm CT.

*OneSource eligibility and claim status transaction processing and historical viewing will be unavailable during the downtime.

*IntelliSource, EDI, and eCare NEXT will not be available for real-time eligibility and claim status transaction processing, but we will hold the inquiries and begin processing the queued transactions for those products as soon as our system is available again.

*Historical transactions will be viewable for IntelliSource, EDI, and eCare NEXT customers during the downtime, but not via OneSource.

*Financial products (PaymentSafe, PatientSimple, L2G, and First Data) processing will be available!

OrderSmart/OrderRite Authorization Management – Authorization Enhancement for Multiple CPTs.  For facility group users and facility users who have Authorization tab enabled, added new feature to support multiple procedures within the Authorization tab.

*If there is more than one procedure with valid CPT codes the authorization screen will show “All” tab and one tab for each procedure. Users will be able to manually enter the Auth# details where Workflow Status = “Completed” or “Response Received” and Referral Status is “Authorized”.

*The information provided in the tab will be captured and displayed along with the notes and will not affect the workqueue orders.

*No change to the display of the workflow and workqueue referral status.

*No change in the functionality, if there is single procedure code or if there is no procedure code.

Special Notes:

  • Weekly Deployment Schedule:  Passport’s weekly application deployment is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm CT every Thursday night. However, our deployment process typically results in no customer impact or downtime. If we suspect a change will impact customers, we will communicate forty-eight hours in advance. The hardware and systems maintenance follows the application deployment Thursday nights from 10:00pm to 12:00am CT. During this window customers may experience intermittent processing issues.
