Scheduled Production Changes

OrderSmart

  • Enhanced security change for SSN – All user displays will mask the SSN by default. Notify your support representative in the event you would like to enable viewing SSN for your facility.
    • When masked the SSN will be displayed as “xxx-xx-0000”
    • In pages where SSN can be manually entered or changed, when clicking on the field, existing SSN will be displayed
  • Global Search Option – All users will have access to a global search check box in workqueue. This will retain the selection for the same user across multiple sessions.
    • Once the global search box is checked by a user, it will be retained until the user unchecks the selection

Patient Payment Estimator (PPE)

  • Length of Stay – A UI change that will have Length of Stay (LOS) display on the estimate for ALL inpatient procedures and visits will no longer display for inpatient estimates.
  • Easy Search – Add an optional UMT setting to allow clients to change the default number of results in the Easy Search.
  • Estimate Change – We have a new account setting that permits the estimate to multiply the copay by the number of visits (for outpatient procedures) and by the LOS (for inpatient procedures).

Special Notes:

  • Weekly Deployment Schedule:  Passport’s weekly application deployment is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm CT every Thursday night. However, our deployment process typically results in no customer impact or downtime. If we suspect a change will impact customers, we will communicate forty-eight hours in advance. The hardware and systems maintenance follows the application deployment Thursday nights from 10:00pm to 12:00am CT. During this window customers may experience intermittent processing issues.
