eCare NEXT and OneSource Real-Time Processing Update – 01.05.2016 @ 7:00am CT Update

[7:00am CT]  Our team moved several changes into production last night to mitigate the eCare NEXT slowness issues.  The results have been very positive thus far.  However, we will monitor overall performance and response time throughout the remainder of the day.  Again, we apologize for the service disruption.

[6:00pm CT]  Most eCare NEXT transactions are processing normally.  We are going to make a change at 7pm CT that could cause sporadic slowness for up to 20 minutes, but we hope will ultimately resolve the overall issue.  However, most customers will not be impacted.

[5:00pm CT]  Overall eCare NEXT processing continues to improve, but customers may continue to experience sporadic processing delays greater than 45 seconds.  The systems team will continue to troubleshoot until processing is consistently normal (10-20 seconds).

[4:00pm CT]  Although overall processing has improved since 3:00pm, many transactions continue to process between 45-60 seconds.  The systems team will continue to troubleshoot until we have a resolution.

[3:30pm CT]  eCare NEXT processing time has improved in the last 30 minutes.  A majority of transactions are processing as quickly as 30 seconds.  However, some  may take  60-90 seconds.  We will continue to work on a resolution.

[3:00pm CT]  Processing times are averaging 60-120 seconds.  Our next update will be at 3:30pm CT.

[2:30pm CT]  Processing time has not improved.  Our team continues to troubleshoot the delay.  Our next update will be at 3:00pm CT.

[2:00pm CT]  Processing time remains very slow on the eCare NEXT platform.  Most inquiries are delayed between 60-120 seconds.  Our next update will be at 2:30pm CT.

[1:30pm CT]  Processing time has increased in the last 30 minutes and we are consistently processing eCare NEXT transactions between 45-90 seconds.  We will continue to work on improving response time.  Our next update will be at 2:00pm CT.

[12:00pm CT]  Real-time eCare NEXT processing should now be available!  You may have sporadic transactions that take longer than normal (45-60 seconds), but that should happen infrequently.  However, due to the need to purge some queued transactions, you may need to reprocess missing accounts.  Additionally, we have temporarily disabled the service that prevents duplicates so you may notice an increase in those instances.  We will continue to monitor response times to make certain there are no further delays or slowness.

Also, there are still a number of payers that continue to process slower than normal or time-out.  Those issues are separate from the eCare NEXT slowness.

[11:30am CT]  Most eCare NEXT transactions continue to process much slower than normal (2-3 minutes).  We do not have an estimated fix time for eCare NEXT real-time processing.

[11:00am CT]  There are still a large number of eCare NEXT transactions that are taking between 2-3 minutes to process.  Until we consistently process all inquiries with normal response times, we will continue working on this issue.  The entire systems/architecture team is engaged, but we do not have an estimated fix time for eCare NEXT real-time processing.  We will continue to post updates every 30 minutes.

[10:30am CT]  Although we are making progress resolving real-time processing in eCare NEXT, we are still encountering sporadic slowness and timed-out requests.  We do not have an estimated fix time for eCare NEXT real-time processing.  We will continue to post updates every 30 minutes.

[10:00am CT]  We are still targeting 1030am CT as the fix time for real-time eCare NEXT processing.  Update to be posted no later than 10:30am CT.

[9:30am CT]  EDI and OneSource (OS) real-time processing should now be available.  Our new target resolution for real-time eCare NEXT processing is now 10:00am – 10:30am CT.

[9:00am CT]  We anticipate EDI and OneSource (OS) real-time processing to be available by 9:30am CT.  However, our new target resolution for real-time eCare NEXT processing is now 10:00am CT.

[8:30am CT]  We are working on an issue that is causing slowness for all eCare NEXT products and OneSource.  We are working on a resolution for real-time processing.  We do not have an estimated fix time, but we anticipate improvement in the next 30-60 minutes.
