Related to a production change on Dec. 9, 2013, the 835 ERA files providers receive from
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas (BCBS TX) experienced technical issues that
caused delivery delays. This also affected the Electronic Payment Summary (EPS)
files, as follows:
· ERA files scheduled for delivery prior to today have been delivered.
· ERA files scheduled for delivery today (12/11/13) have been delayed.
· EPS files scheduled for delivery on 12/10/13 and 12/11/13 have been delayed.
Your patience is appreciated as internal teams work to resolve this issue as quickly as
possible. We will notify you once the delayed ERA and EPS files are available.
