ClaimSource Release Notes for 06.26.2014

The following ClaimSource changes were moved to production on 06.26.2014.

Enhancements:

  • Work Queue – Additional filtering on Revenue Codes, Diagnoses, and HCPCs/CPTs
  • Claim Maintenance – DCN/ICN for Insurance Being Billed is now on the Insurance Screen (usually for change/void claims)
  • Claim Maintenance – Diagnosis pointers have been broken up into individual fields on the 1500
  • Claim Maintenance – Ambulance Drop-Off Location field now available on 1500 screen
  • Claim Maintenance – The Force-to-Paper flag is now available on the form
  • Claim Maintenance – Individual errors involving multiple fields can now highlight more than one field per error
  • Claim Maintenance – Context menu is now scrollable
  • General – Introducing new submission status of P for claims that have been transmitted but are awaiting further intervention from user (such as Jopari attachments)
  • Rules – Optional Code Validation now includes Revenue Codes
  • Rules – Electronic claims must have a payer paid amount for each prior insurance (even if it’s zero)
  • Reports – New report: Medicare Claim Status Detail
  • Reports – New report: Claims Sent by User Detail
  • Reports – New report: Claim Totals by Insurance Level
  • Reports – Replaced Payer ID filter with Payer Code filter on Claim Totals Report
  • Reports – Added claim tag filter and display to Claim Inbound Detail Report
  • Reports – Added claim tags  and Transmission Status to Error and Hold Detail Report
  • Reports – Error and Hold Detail Report can now sort by Total Charges (ascending and descending)
  • Reports – Error and Hold Detail Report now splits out site results into separate worksheets when exporting to Excel
  • Reports – Claim count column split to show sent claims and unsent claims separately in Errors Closed by User Summary Report
  • Reports – Errors Closed by User Detail report can now be sorted by User Name and Date\Time Closed – Time closed now shown on report
  • Reports – New Productivity Reports category containing reports based on user activity
  • Forms – New form: WPS Redetermination Form
  • Forms – Tertiary claims can now print EOBs on separate pages (Requires update of Print Service)
  • Status Group Setup – Days before statusing must now be larger than maximum claim age
  • Site Setup – Slight redesign with more consistent look and feel

Fixes:

  • Work Queue – Fixed issue where horizontal scrolling would not take you all the way to filter in some cases
  • Claim Maintenance – Fixed issue where some legacy numbers could not be completely removed
  • Claim Maintenance – Fixed issue where ambulance info could not be removed
  • Reports – Fixed “#Error” message at the end of Claim inbound Detail Report for total charges on hold
  • Reports – Fixed issue where scheduled reports were reverting to Excel after hitting save
  • Forms – Billing Provider Zip Code was cut short on UBs
  • Forms – Modifications to CHC Reconsideration form
