The issue with our encrypted hardware was resolved at 2:35pm CT this afternoon. These errors were caused by our encryption vendor deploying code without notification to our technical team. The problem began at 12:08pm CT. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Passport’s encrypted wedges and ipad devices are currently offline and will generate errors if a transaction is attempted through them. We are working to resolve the issue and currently do not have an eta at this time. It appears these devices went offline around 12:08pm CT this afternoon.
A work around is to manually key in the credit card number and information directly into OneSource or eCare Next and not use the “encrypted” hardware. Cash and paper checks and eChecks are not impacted by this.
If using the non encrypted hardware those transactions are still processing without issue.
We apologize for the inconvience this is causing and are working to resolve it.
