Passport Release Notes – 06.18.2015

Change Overview:

BatchSource

Update the BatchSource HiDef Parser Interface to allow parsing from additional fields  All BatchSource clients using the HiDef Parser Interface (default for all new clients) may be affected, but only if we add new parsing rules.  Existing clients will see no change.

Add functionality to allow for Download file record filtering to create a single filtering rule based on multiple fields and criteria.  All clients using Download file filtering may be affected, but only if the rules are set up.  Existing clients will see no change.

Mirror REJ*EJ information in any present Dependent loops from the Subscriber information if there is a no Dependent-specific REF*EJ included in the upload file.  All Eligibility and Coverage Discovery clients receiving a 271 response file who send in REF*EJ (Patient Account Number/CSN) information in their upload files may be affected.

OrderSmart:  Ability to maintain an ICD translations audit log where any translations occur for a committed order.  For all users, If the order’s Date of Service is before the mandated Oct 1, 2015 and the user has entered ICD 10 codes, OSM will prompt the user to only select ICD 9 codes.

FaxSmart:  For Fax users, added label functionality to “Called” Fax number

OrderSmart Reports:  For Facility users added “Orders User Activity Report” under Summary reports for Showing Account Status, Schedule Status, Order Source and Pivot table with Schedule Status and Order Source.

OrderSmart Authorization Tab:  For all facility users the time stamps for Authorization Note.  (Authorization Details pop up in Work Queue and Authorization Details More Information Section in verification screen) has been resolved and configured as per facility time-zone.

Special Notes:

Equifax to Experian Address Verification Transition Reminder – 6.26.2015 Conversion In order to insure all customers are accessing the best data, we will move all of our remaining Equifax address verification transactions to Experian June 26th 2015.  No technical changes are required for existing Equifax users as we will programmatically migrate the remaining customers on the 26th.  Also, your pricing for address verification services will not change.

Customers Affected by IntelliSource/eCare NEXT Issue on 06.12.2015:  If you were a customer affected by last Friday night’s 8:30pm CT processing issue, you will be impacted by a hardware upgrade this Thursday night between 10pm CT and 12am CT.  You will not be able to process transaction during this maintenance.  We appreciate your patience as we make changes to improve our service

Weekly Deployment Schedule:  Passport’s weekly application deployment is between 8:00pm and 10:00pm CT every Thursday night. However, our deployment process typically results in no customer impact or downtime. If we suspect a change will impact customers, we will communicate forty-eight hours in advance. The hardware and systems maintenance follows the application deployment Thursday nights from 10:00pm to 12:00am CT. During this window customers may experience intermittent processing issues.
