As of mid-day, Friday, October 02, 2015, we have begun to import and successfully submit ICD 10 coded claims (in the thousands) to the payors.
We received a communication from a Trading Partner stating that due to the payor not being able to process ICD 10 claims, that claims destined to the following payors will be dropped to paper and mailed:
61271 – PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL GROUP
62157 – HEALTH PARTNERS – TN
46450 – STATE AUTO INSURANCE COMPANIES
We ran queries on these payors and the volume is extremely small across all of our providers. Our recommendation at this time is to allow our Trading Partner to handle until the payor is able to resume electronic delivery of claims.
