State of Illinois New Provider Enrollment (IMPACT) Implementation

IMPACT Update – 08/06/15

We are pleased to announce that our enrollment application in the IMPACT system has been accepted and approved by the State.

The IMPACT system is currently open for providers to enroll. You may now proceed with the steps which require you to associate your enrollment with our clearinghouse/billing agency.   Per the information provided in the IMPACT Webinars, there is a drop down menu to select the Billing Agency you are “associating” with.

For reference, PassportHealth/Nebo is registered within the IMPACT systems as shown below:

Billing Agent  ID:              7095878

Billing Agent Name:      PASSPORT HEALTH NEBO SYSTEMS

Registration and/or revalidation must occur in the following order:

  1. Billing Agents (Billing Services and Clearinghouses)
  2. Billing Providers (FAOs and Groups)
  3. Individuals (Sole Proprietorships and Rendering/Servicing)

Providers should have received their Application IDs in the mail.   HFS mailed these out in May and again in July, 2015.   During the IMPACT webinars, HFS stated the following information would be required to revalidate:

  • Application ID number
  • National Provider Number (NPI)
  • W-9 tax form certified with the Comptroller
  • Email Address
  • Internet Explorer 8 or a more recent web browser

Additional information can be found on the IMPACT website at http://IMPACTinfo.illinois.gov  The presentation for Enrollment for Facility, Agency and Organizations can be found under Presentations and Materials.   Step 6: Associate Billing Agent can be found on pages 30-35. If you require assistance, contact the IMPACT HelpDesk at IMPACThelp@Illinois.gov or call 877-782-5565.

PassportHealth/Nebo will continue to post notices on the ClaimSource Dashboard, which can be accessed by providers at www.passportproductdashboard.com under the heading “State of Illinois New Provider Enrollment System (IMPACT) Implementation”.
