PaymentSafe Processing Notification – 10.21.2016

Today, multiple waves of online attacks blocked many major websites and web services across the country.  The cause was a large-scale distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) against New Hampshire-based Internet performance company Dyn.  These attacks have impacted the ability for some of our clients to process financial transactions today.  The impact has been sporadic.  We are monitoring the situation, and will keep you updated as information is provided to us.  None of your patient’s data  has been compromised.  If you experience issues processing through a hardware device, you might consider manually keying in the card data into the application in OneSource or eCareNext depending on which you utilize (if your organization permits).  In some cases this might allow transactions to process.
